Is Infusionsoft Right for Your Business?
Let’s face it – starting up or maintaining a business is never easy. It’s a fact! The test of gathering trustworthy and equally capable employees can be a long rigorous process.
Once your team is set, you also need to equip them. Like soldiers going to a battlefield, the necessity to have the right kind of tools is insistent. What happens to a soldier in battle without a good gun? Die or struggle to survive. Imagine if your business is the soldier with an ineffective tool. What would happen to your business? Die or struggle to survive.
Deciding on which tools and by that I mean programs or software sounds simple but it’s NOT. It’s really not. At website.co.uk, we always try to make use of the best and most updated tools in the market. To work with impeccable software isn’t just something, it is everything.
What some marketers don’t realise is that the programs or software you opt to use can either make or break your business. This is exactly why we use Infusionsoft. I have been personally using this platform and I ought to tell you what I honestly think about it with the intent that it could help you decide whether you should use Infusionsoft or not.
I have read a string of bad comments from people about how expensive Infusionsoft’s training is. At first, I was also astonished with the training fee of $1999. That is plain pricey but if you dig deeper to what the training offers, you’ll realise why it’s priced like that.
The initial training takes a lot of time. The nature of your business and the goals you want to achieve with Infusionsoft’s help will be scrutinized and discussed. In this case, the time spent is indeed gold. If you are willing and determined then forget the price and focus on the benefits you’ll get from it. Some people ended up teaching virtual assistants and even entrepreneurs after completing the training.
One of the very first things I noticed about Infusionsoft is it’s not so friendly user interface. It would take time to get used to it and be good with it so a comprehensive training is valuable if you want to succeed in using it. This could be a challenge to many users who are apprehensive or impatient in learning new software.
Infusionsoft’s ability to create flexible email list segmentation is one of its best features. It makes use of tags so if you want to create a new email list, all you have to do is create a tag for it and then tag any prospect or client who you want to include in that list. Plain and easy!
Due to busy schedules, the need to follow-up on the prospects or clients on your database tends to be overlooked. Infusionsoft can automatically follow-up on personalized contents and tell you, it does put some smiles on the faces of your clients. Next thing you know, your sales are increasing!
It also has other automated actions. If you think automated follow-up is great, there are more automated actions in Infusionsoft which would surely impress you. Take for example, if a client has recently made a purchase, a series of automated actions will then follow which will be based on that person’s record.
Creating membership on your websites with the help of Infusionsoft and another software is also possible. If you are selling some products or services online then this is highly useful to you. You can make it work with Kajabi and Customer Hub. If these two don’t ring a bell to you, may be WordPress does.
Another challenge in using Infusionsoft is the difficulty of generating ready to go and ready to print sales reports. This part could really spike your blood pressure especially if you are trying to meet deadlines. It could be time consuming and exhausting to figure everything out.
Infusionsoft’s email marketing isn’t the best but to be fair, it isn’t that bad. There are some email templates which can be downloaded but it’s not available on Mac but what you can do is to create your own template through the drag and drop email builder. You can also make use of codes for greater customization but I’ve heard that it’s quiet difficult. When it comes to email creation and editing, MailChimp or other email software could be a better option.
Although their phone support isn’t 24/7, they have fantastic and well-trained customer service representatives. They have also made available a support chat for their users.
Another major turn off for those who are planning to use Infusionsoft is its price. If you’re still starting up a business, the price could make you back out. The packages run from £138 – £249/month with a Kickstart services fee of £1313! (This is the training fee mentioned earlier.) Take note, Kickstart services are required for all new customers. The Kickstart services include everything you need to get started.
Infusionsoft is one of the most powerful tools in the market these days. They have more than 14,000 users and the number is continually growing. It is everything rolled in one; from database to reports to email marketing and everything else. It does all of these things and gets rid of the clutter.
If you also want to make some money through Infusionsoft, you can sign up on their affiliate deals, referral partners, certified partners/resellers, developer and industry partners.
